Part sequencing and kitting
Workers pick the right parts from bins or shelves, put them in the order and orientation the next assembly step needs, and place them into kits or onto fixtures.
This is one of the most common first humanoid pilot tasks in automotive and electronics. It is repetitive and high volume, but the robot still needs reliable vision and grasping across many part types.
- Egocentric video and hand tracking of pick, orient and place
- Small fasteners, larger components and mixed kits
- Different lighting and bin layouts
- Clean sequences plus common errors and how the worker recovers
Automotive plants, electronics assembly, contract manufacturers.
